Fife Medical Group offer patient transport services across Scotland and the rest of the UK. We can provide ambulance transport to and from hospital appointments or for respite care.Â
All vehicles are regularly serviced and maintained by our chosen garage. We provide stretchers and wheelchair access and ensure all our clients are provided with the most comfortable journey possible.
For medical emergencies with difficult to reach destinations we offer a quad bike service with medical equipment. Perfect for events where the terrain is restricted or not suitable for standard style vehicles. Quads and 4 x 4 vehicles ensure that our recovery time is not hindered due to road conditions.
All of our Ambulances are fully equipped with the necessary equipment to help deal with more complex medical injuries. Every vehicle is provided with professionally qualified staff.
We have full blue light motor insurance on all our vehicles.
We also offer ambulance repatriation services at Fife Medical Group and can organise an ambulance to meet you at the aircraft, with transport to the chosen destination.
Prior to the service, we undertake a risk assessment to ensure a suitable ambulance is provided to fully meet the patients needs and our large fleet of vehicles allows us to do this easily.

Our qualified First Aiders are trained to recognise traumatic injuries and illnesses.
Our team offer immediate medical assistance. First aid administered ‘promptly’ and effectively save lives.
Our First Aiders hold appropriate accreditation to be able to provide first aid in the event of an incident/accident. The minimum training our First Aiders hold is a FAW (3 Day First Aid At Work) Qualification, but these First Aiders are perfectly integrated with our other qualified staff members.
Our qualified First Responders can administer life-saving medication to patients. They also have training in initial treatment of injuries and illnesses.
Our Paramedics are registered with the Health and Care Professionals Council (HCPC) and hold advanced skills for the management of seriously ill or injured pateients.
Fife Medical Group’s Ambulance Technicians hold intermediate medical assessment skills with regards to the treatment of illnesses and injuries and provide pre-hospital clinical care.
All our Nurses are registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) and they offer extensive pre-hospital care.
Our nurses can carry out suturing wounds and work hand-in-hand with paramedics.
Our staff undergo strict recruitment processes and we are committed as a company to their ongoing medical training. We consistently mentor all levels of staff, ensuring we have a clinically robust team at every level.Â
We regularly conduct senior clinician led CPD training. We have our own training company within the group which allows us to develop our staff to a very high standard, and provide them with on-going higher training as part of our continual personal and professional development plan and policy.
All our staff work to recognised National Standards with best practice following our strict policy and procedures that are in place.
Our Advanced Nurse Practitioners hold Level 7 MSc qualifications in a clinical assessment.
They hold an active registration with the NMC (National Medical Council) and are educated to Masters Degree level.
Our ANPs work as the first point of contact to safely manage patients presenting with unknown symptoms and conditions.
Trained in critical care, our Specialist Paramedics can provide treatment on scene to the critically injured.Â
In addition, they can assess and diagnose injuries, with knowledge of the patients medical history. Caring for patients with minor illness, minor injury, chronic and complex conditions, etc.

The Medical Commander is responsible for the overall medical management of the UK military medical services, providing medical support to the Armed Forces.
Minimum Qualifications: – Bachelor‘s Degree in Medicine or a related field.
Our staff have the ability to work under pressure and in challenging environments.
All our Senior Clinicians have full scope of emergency life-saving medications and drugs, additionally all our Ambulances have manual and automated defibrillation equipment. All of our staff work to Joint Royal College Ambulance Liaison Committee (JRCALC) and JRCALC Plus Clinical Guidelines, as well as the ‘Green’ and ‘Purple’ Guides ensuring we provide the highest standard of pre-hospital care.
Easy and quick to assemble, these tents provide space for our medical staff to treat patients in privacy, whilst also protecting from potentially bad weather or sunshine.
We have rescue tents with roll-ups and pop-up canopies. Â
We use tents and barriers to create isolated zones, outdoor emergency facilities and they are the perfect choice to be used as ‘medical points’ such as running events where the tents are easily visible to the participants from a distance.
We can use the tents to qualify the patients condition, allowing the selection of patients and the separation of patients being treated in the tent in a private environment. Â
