We offer both Paediatric First Aid, and Emergency Paediatric First Aid Courses
This qualification is designed for learners with a responsibility for the care of children and/or babies.
The content of the course provides knowledge and practical skills to deal with a range of paediatric first aid conditions and incidents.
Although this course is aimed at ‘learners’, candidates will leave the training with the competence and practical knowledge to cope with a variety of emergency situations.
• Role of the Paediatric First Aider
• Primary survey
• Resuscitation (CPR including the safe use of an AED)
• Seizure
• Choking
• Wounds, bleeding and shock
• Minor injuries
• Recovery positions

This professional qualification is designed for learners with a responsibility for the care of children and babies.
This two day course allows the learner to gain the knowledge and practical competence required to deal with a range of paediatric first aid situations, and fulfils the requirements for First Aid Training as stipulated by the Department for Education’s Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage.
