The Highfield Award in Emergency First Aid at Work at SCQF Level 6 is designed for learners who wish to become emergency first-aiders in the workplace.
This one-day qualification gives learners the knowledge, confidence and practical skills needed to respond to a range of workplace first aid situations, including CPR, AED use, choking, bleeding, shock and minor injuries.
This qualification supports organisations that have identified a need for emergency first-aiders through their workplace first aid needs assessment.

Assessment:
Practical assessment and multiple-choice theory assessment. Learners must successfully complete the required practical and theory assessments to achieve the qualification.
Certification:
Highfield certificate upon successful completion. The qualification is valid for 3 years. Annual refresher training is strongly recommended to help first-aiders keep their skills up to date.
